How to Get to Ta Cu Mountain #
Tà Cú Mountain (Núi Tà Cú) is near Phan Thiết in Bình Thuận Province. Drive or take a local bus/taxi from Phan Thiết (about 25-30 km, roughly a 45-60 minute drive depending on route) to the mountain base; from the base there is a cable car/gondola and a steep walking trail that take visitors up to the pagoda and the large reclining Buddha.
Tips for Visiting Ta Cu Mountain #
- Go early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat and the busiest day‑trip crowds from Phan Thiet; lighting at those times also improves views and photos.
- Use the mountain's cable car from the base to reach the summit quickly-this is the common access route for most visitors and saves a steep climb if you're short on time.
- Allow extra time at the top for the temple complex and the large reclining Buddha; many visitors rush the cable‑car round trip and miss the smaller shrines and short jungle trails near the summit.
