From Kurumoch you can take the airport shuttle bus or a regional bus to Samara railway station (coach ~100-200 RUB, about 50-70 minutes), then continue to Syzran by regional train or bus (see Train & Bus card). A taxi from Kurumoch directly to Syzran takes roughly 2.5-3 hours and will typically cost in the range of 4,000-7,000 RUB depending on provider and season.
Train: Syzran is served by Syzran-1 (Сызрань-1) railway station on the Kuybyshev Railway. Regular long-distance and regional trains connect Syzran with Samara (Samara-1 / Самара-1) and other regional centers; the Samara-Syzran regional trains take about 2-2.5 hours and fares for reserved seats or coach class commonly range from roughly 200-600 RUB depending on train type. Bus: Intercity buses and marshrutka services run between Samara and Syzran from Samara’s central bus stations and from intermediate towns. The bus journey takes around 2-3 hours depending on route and traffic; fares are typically in the 200-400 RUB range. Local buses and marshrutkas serve routes inside Syzran and to nearby settlements-short trips inside town are cheaper (see Getting Around).
