The Swedish Museum of Natural History (Naturhistoriska riksmuseet) is in the Frescati area near Stockholm University. Take the red line metro to Universitetet (or tram/bus services that stop at Frescati/Universitetet); from Universitetet station it’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the museum. By car it’s a short drive from central Stockholm (roughly 6-8 km) via the Roslagsvägen/Valhallavägen arterial roads.
