Swarovski

Swarovski Kristallwelten (Swarovski Crystal Worlds) is a visitor attraction and museum complex in Wattens, Tyrol, created by the Swarovski company to display artistic interpretations of crystal and light. It opened in the mid-1990s and combines indoor galleries, gardens and a retail area.

Exhibition spaces known as the “Chambers of Wonder” present commissioned works by contemporary artists and designers that reinterpret crystal in large-scale installations. Outdoor gardens, a landscaped approach featuring the site’s emblematic “Giant” sculpture and a large crystal boutique are key components of a typical visit.

The centre was developed by the Swarovski company as a cultural and visitor destination and opened in 1995 to mark a company centenary; since opening it has been expanded with new galleries and refreshed installations. The site regularly commissions new works and seasonal exhibitions.

Swarovski Kristallwelten is located in Wattens in the Austrian state of Tyrol, within short driving distance of Innsbruck and well served by regional road connections.
