Sulamani Temple is a brick Buddhist temple in the Bagan archaeological zone of Mandalay Region in central Myanmar, completed in the late 12th century under King Narapatisithu.
The temple is characterised by finely laid brick walls, a cruciform plan with multiple terraces and ornate interior wall paintings and frescoes. Its vertical profile and decorative brickwork distinguish it among Bagan’s major temples.
Sulamani served as a devotional temple and a focus for royal patronage in the Pagan period; it has undergone conservation and reconstruction following damage from earthquakes in the modern era.
It stands on the Bagan plain among many other temples and stupas, within the core archaeological area visited by most Bagan visitors.
