How to Get to Stuorajavri #
Stuorajavri is reached from the municipal roads around Kautokeino and Alta. Expect long gravel stretches; a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. From Kautokeino (about 100-150 km depending on route), follow regional roads toward the lake-local maps and signage are sparse, so a GPS with offline maps or coordinates is essential. In winter some routes are only reliably passable with snowmobile or guided transport.
