Stožice Stadium is a modern football stadium located in the Stožice district of Ljubljana, Slovenia. It opened in 2010 and is the city’s primary venue for large outdoor sports events.
The stadium seats approximately 16,000 spectators and is used for domestic football matches and occasional international fixtures, as well as concerts and community events. It is part of the larger Stožice sports park, which includes an adjoining indoor arena for basketball and other events.
Built as a multiuse sports complex in the late 2000s, the site replaced older facilities and centralized major indoor and outdoor event hosting in north Ljubljana. The stadium lies a short distance north of Ljubljana’s central districts and is accessible by the city’s road network.
