Stoney 142, 143, 144

A set of Indian reserves in Alberta, Canada identified by the numbers 142, 143 and 144 and associated with the Stoney peoples. These reserves function as land base and home communities for the Stoney First Nations.

This is primarily a living community rather than a tourist attraction; there are residential settlements and community facilities rather than visitor infrastructures. Access and activities on reserve land are governed by the local First Nation authorities, and respectful permission should be sought for visits.

The reserves were established under Canadian federal reserve policy as parcels of land set aside for Indigenous communities. They have remained the local governance and residential areas for the Stoney First Nations through the 20th and 21st centuries.
