How to Get to Ste. Genevieve#
Ste. Genevieve, Missouri is best accessed by road; St. Louis (STL) is the closest major airport and offers rental cars and connecting ground transport. The town has limited public-transport options, so driving is typically the simplest choice.
St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL): STL is the nearest major airport to Ste. Genevieve (about 50-70 km / 30-60 minutes by car depending on route). From the airport rent a car or take a regional shuttle/taxi to reach Ste. Genevieve; driving is the most practical option.
Cape Girardeau Regional (CGI): A smaller regional airport further southeast can serve some connections but offers limited scheduled services; ground travel times to Ste. Genevieve are longer and less convenient than from St. Louis.
Train: There is no direct Amtrak service to Ste. Genevieve; the nearest Amtrak stations are in Hermann, MO or St. Louis. Train plus local ground transport is rarely practical for door-to-door travel to Ste. Genevieve.
