Station Square station is a light rail and transit stop at the Station Square complex on the south bank of the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It functions as a public-transport access point for the riverside shopping and entertainment area.

The station provides direct access to the Station Square retail and dining complex and the riverfront pedestrian areas. It is commonly used by commuters and tourists transferring between light rail services and riverfront attractions.

The stop is part of the Port Authority of Allegheny County light rail network and was established to serve the redeveloped Station Square district along Pittsburgh’s south shore. Its role has been to connect downtown Pittsburgh with the commercial and leisure facilities at Station Square.

The station sits on Pittsburgh’s southern riverfront at Station Square, adjacent to the Monongahela River and within short walking distance of downtown Pittsburgh across river bridges.

• Station access: Sits at the Station Square mixed-use complex on Pittsburgh’s south riverfront and provides direct access to riverside shops, restaurants and riverboat departures.
• Viewing point: Good vantage point for skyline views across the Monongahela River toward downtown Pittsburgh, especially in the evening.

Station Square is served by Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s light rail (the “T”)-use the Station Square stop. Regional buses and riverboat services (seasonal) connect here; parking is available in the Station Square garage.

• Use the light-rail connections and the free Shuttle bus that circles downtown Pittsburgh to connect to Station Square complex.
• Allow extra time if transferring to the Monongahela Incline-tourist queues can be long in summer.
