Station Square station

Station Square station is a light rail and transit stop at the Station Square complex on the south bank of the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It functions as a public-transport access point for the riverside shopping and entertainment area.

The station provides direct access to the Station Square retail and dining complex and the riverfront pedestrian areas. It is commonly used by commuters and tourists transferring between light rail services and riverfront attractions.

The stop is part of the Port Authority of Allegheny County light rail network and was established to serve the redeveloped Station Square district along Pittsburgh’s south shore. Its role has been to connect downtown Pittsburgh with the commercial and leisure facilities at Station Square.
