Stadium Australia, located in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct, is a large multipurpose stadium originally constructed for the 2000 Summer Olympic Games. It is designed to host athletics, rugby, football and large-scale concerts, and is one of Australia’s major stadiums.

The stadium’s defining features are its large spectator capacity, flexible seating arrangements and extensive event facilities that support international sports and entertainment events. The venue has hosted opening and closing ceremonies, athletics events, and a range of domestic and international fixtures since the Olympics.

Stadium Australia (Accor Stadium) is in Sydney Olympic Park. From Sydney CBD take a train toward Lidcombe and change for the T7 Olympic Park Line (or catch special event trains) to Olympic Park station; the stadium is then a roughly 10-15 minute walk or a short shuttle ride from the station. By car it is about 15-20 km west of the CBD via Parramatta Road/M4 and Olympic Drive, with dedicated event parking and road access into Sydney Olympic Park.

• Use Sydney Olympic Park train station (special event services operate on match/event days) - trains are usually the quickest way in and out of the precinct.
• To avoid the big post-event exodus, either arrive closer to kickoff or wait 30-60 minutes after the final whistle before heading to the station so crowds thin.
• For cleaner photo angles and a quieter arrival, approach via the pedestrian bridges or riverside promenades on the stadium's north side rather than the main southern gates where coach groups congregate.
