St. Michael Archangel's Church, Dębno

St. Michael Archangel’s Church in Dębno is a timber Gothic parish church in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland, recognised for its well-preserved medieval wooden construction.

The building presents the characteristic wooden nave and chancel form with a steep shingled roof and contains extensive polychrome painted decoration on interior surfaces. It is frequently visited for its intact wooden structure and historic painted interiors.

The church dates to the late medieval period and was erected by local craftsmen using traditional timber techniques. Its preservation and stylistic features led to inclusion among the region’s wooden churches protected for their historical and architectural significance.

The church stands in the village of Dębno in southern Poland and is part of the ensemble of historic wooden churches in the region.
