How to Get to Sredna Gora #
Sredna Gora is a mountain range served from nearby regional centers rather than a single town. The usual approach is by car from Plovdiv (the nearest major city): driving to access points in the range (for example the towns of Koprivshtitsa, Panagyurishte or Strelcha) typically covers roughly 30-70 km depending on which ridge or trailhead you target; local roads connect the range with Plovdiv and Pazardzhik.
There are also regular regional buses from Plovdiv and Pazardzhik to the towns on the Sredna Gora foothills (e.g., Koprivshtitsa, Panagyurishte); from those towns you can walk or start hikes on waymarked trails into the mountains (walking distances vary by trailhead).

- Visit in late spring or early autumn and aim for early morning or late afternoon for cooler temperatures, clearer views and better light for photos - summer midday can be hot and hazy.
