Spitaki Erkrasharzhi Zoherin

Sumilon Island is a small island off the southeastern coast of Cebu province in the Philippines, administratively part of the municipality of Oslob. It is known locally for its marine sanctuary and a distinctive sandbar.

Protected reef areas for snorkeling and diving, a prominent white sandbar popular for swimming and photography, and a small island resort that provides day-trip services and basic visitor facilities. Recreational snorkeling around the reef and short guided tours from the mainland are common visitor activities.

The island has long been used by local fishers and was later managed to protect reef habitat and fisheries while supporting limited tourism. A private operator runs visitor accommodations and maintains shoreline access and snorkeling sites.

Geographically it sits off the coast of Oslob on Cebu’s southeastern shore in the Bohol Sea. The island is visible from the mainland and reached by short boat transfers from Oslob and nearby coastal points.
