About Songdo Central Park

Set in the heart of Songdo, Korea’s first international city, Songdo Central Park was conceived as a key public zone within the Songdo IBD master plan and is often noted as being inspired by New York City’s Central Park.

The park covers about 101 acres and makes up close to 10% of the IBD’s total area, giving the high-rise district a large, walkable green core.

A defining feature is the seawater canal system, designed to refresh itself roughly every 24 hours, which helps shape the park’s waterside character and routes through the area.
