Söderåsen National Park is a protected area in Skåne County in southern Sweden that preserves a forested sandstone ridge and steep wooded ravines. The park is valued for its beech-dominated forest, streams and marked hiking trails.

Visitors use a network of trails and boardwalks to reach viewpoints, ravines and small lakes; the Kopparhatten viewpoint is a noted overlook. The landscape is characterized by steep slopes, deciduous forest and stream valleys rather than high mountains or open plains.

The park was established to protect the ridge and its old-growth beech stands and is managed for recreation and conservation with marked paths and visitor information. Wildlife and plant communities typical of southern Swedish woodlands are the primary conservation focus.

Söderåsen lies inland in Skåne County, southern Sweden, with trailheads and visitor access from nearby villages such as Röstånga. The park is reachable by regional roads from larger towns in Skåne.

• Kopparhatten viewpoint: The Kopparhatten ridge viewpoint offers one of the park’s most accessible panoramic views across the Söderåsen valley and steep ravines.

Söderåsen is about 1-1.5 hours by car from Malmö and Helsingborg. Regional trains connect nearby towns; the park’s main entrances (Skäralid and Kopparhatten viewpoints) have parking and are signposted from local roads. Public buses serve the area seasonally.
