How to Get to Śmielec #
Access Śmielec from the Polish side via Szklarska Poręba or from the Czech side via Harrachov. Marked trails (red or blue) lead from lower mountain huts and cable car stations (check local maps). Regional buses serve Szklarska Poręba from Jelenia Góra; from Harrachov, local shuttles connect to trailheads.
Tips for Visiting Śmielec #
- If hiking, wear layers-summit winds can be much colder than the valley.
- Bring a physical map; trails cross and signage is minimal in places.
