The park offers coastal cliffs, forested ridges and marked hiking trails, with short boardwalks and viewpoints along the shoreline. A named highlight inside the park is the crevasse Slåttdalsskrevan, reached by footpaths from the main trailheads.

- Aim for early morning or late afternoon at Slåttdalsskrevan and the Slåttdalsberget viewpoints to see the rock cleft in dramatic light and avoid mid-day visitor peaks on the short main trail.
- Follow the park's marked trails from the official parking/entrance points and pick up a map at the visitor information - the park's main highlights are concentrated but the paths include several steep sections where route choice matters.
- Combine a short visit to the crevasse with a longer ridge walk to reach panorama points few day visitors take, and check weather forecasts since exposed summits can be windy and visibility changes rapidly.
