Skole Beskids National Nature Park is a protected area in Lviv Oblast that preserves part of the Skole Beskids range of the Eastern Carpathians. It was created to protect mountain forests, alpine meadows and traditional rural landscapes.
The park contains extensive beech and mixed forests, mountain meadows and river valleys used for hiking and nature observation. Trails and local routes cross ridges and lead to viewpoints; the park is noted for biodiversity of forest species and seasonal wildflowers.
The park was established by Ukraine in 1999 to safeguard representative Carpathian ecosystems and cultural features of the Skole region. Since its creation it has been managed to combine conservation with regulated recreation and local land use.
The park sits in southern Lviv Oblast in the Ukrainian Carpathians, around the town of Skole and the Skole Ridge. It occupies mountainous terrain within the broader Carpathian arc in western Ukraine.
