By Air

Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport (HRE) - Harare: The main international airport for northern Zimbabwe. From Harare to Shurugwi is a long overland journey (roughly 200-300 km) so arrivals here require a domestic connection or an onward long‑distance road transfer; travel by road typically takes 3-5 hours depending on stops.

Gweru (local airstrips, no regular commercial service): Gweru is the closest larger urban centre to Shurugwi and has airstrips used for charter flights, but there are no reliable scheduled commercial flights into Gweru for most travellers. Most visitors fly into Harare or Bulawayo and continue by road.

By Train & Bus
