Shayba Arena is an indoor ice arena in the Adler Olympic Park near Sochi on Russia’s Black Sea coast, built for the 2014 Winter Olympics. The venue was designed to host Olympic ice hockey matches and related events.
The arena was completed in the early 2010s as part of the Sochi Olympic infrastructure and functioned alongside larger nearby venues during the Games. Its design accommodated international-standard ice surfaces and spectator facilities for tournament play.
Following the Olympics the arena has been used for sporting and cultural events and for regional competition, remaining part of the Olympic Park complex. It retains the Olympic legacy layout and connections to nearby sports venues.
Shayba Arena is located in the Adler district of Sochi within the coastal Olympic cluster, close to the Black Sea shoreline and transport links serving the resort and the city.

How to Get to Shayba Arena #
Shayba Arena is located in the Sochi Olympic Park complex in Adler. The Olympic Park railway station (served by suburban/Lastochka trains on the Adler-Sochi corridor) sits adjacent to the park; from that station the venues, including Shayba Arena, are a short walk through the pedestrianised Olympic Park precinct. Taxis and local buses from Adler and Sochi also serve the Olympic Park area.

- Visit the Shayba Arena when there isn't an event to walk the Olympic Park freely and photograph the exterior architecture; during tournaments expect restricted access and higher local traffic.
- Approach on foot through the Sochi Olympic Park pedestrian routes (there are signposted pedestrian accesses from the main park car parks and train stop) to avoid the congestion around event-day vehicle drop-offs.
- If attending a game, arrive early to pass security checks calmly and to take in the nearby venues (Fisht Stadium and the waterfront) which many ticket-holders don't explore.
- Check the venue's event calendar online before traveling-during major events the arena and surrounding areas may be closed to non-ticketed visitors.
