How to Get to Shaluli Mountains #
Base towns for access include Kangding and Litang in western Sichuan. From Chengdu, long-distance buses and flights reach regional hubs; from there hire local transport and guides. Roads can be long and conditions change seasonally.

- If attempting trekking in the Shaluli range, coordinate with local guides in Kangding or Litang-permits and acclimatization are essential above 4,000 m.
