Shahr-e-Gholghola is a ruined medieval fortress-town in the Bamyan region of central Afghanistan, noted for its visible defensive remains and ruined streets. It is part of the wider archaeological landscape around the Bamyan Buddhas.

The settlement served as a fortified town and strongpoint in the medieval period and was destroyed during the Mongol campaigns of the early 13th century under the armies of Genghis Khan.
