Shabla Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse in Dobrich Province on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, close to the town of Shabla. It is one of the oldest navigational lights on Bulgaria’s Black Sea shore and marks the eastern coastal approaches.
Visitors encounter a traditional stone lighthouse tower set among low coastal dunes and saltwater lagoons; the surrounding area is valued for seabird habitat and coastal scenery. The site is often combined with visits to the nearby Shabla Lake and the easternmost Bulgarian headland.
The lighthouse dates from the 19th century and has served as a navigational aid for shipping along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast since that period; it has been maintained and refurbished at intervals since its original construction.
The light stands a short distance from the shoreline near the town of Shabla in Dobrich Province, in northeastern Bulgaria, on the eastern sector of the country’s Black Sea coast.

How to Get to Shabla Lighthouse #
Shabla Lighthouse (Shabla Point) sits at the easternmost tip of Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast near the village/town of Shabla in Dobrich Province. It is reached by road from Shabla itself; the coastal road from Varna/Dobrich (E87 corridor) is the normal approach and after arriving in Shabla you follow the short local road out to the lighthouse area and park nearby.
The lighthouse is only a short walk from the roadside parking/shoreline (a few hundred metres); amenities are in Shabla town and expect rural coastal roads for the final approach.
