How to Get to S'Espalmador
S’Espalmador is an uninhabited islet north of Formentera and is reached by boat. Visitors normally take a small boat, water taxi or organized day trip from Formentera’s port at La Savina (or from Ibiza via Formentera)-the trip from La Savina is a short boat ride. There are no regular car or bus services to the islet itself; once ashore you can walk across the sand and salt flats on foot.

- Take an early-morning boat from La Savina (Formentera) to reach S'Espalmador before the day-boat crowds arrive; the crossing from Formentera is shortest and most frequent.
- Check tide and sea conditions if you plan to use the sandbar between Formentera and S'Espalmador-walking it is only sensible at low tide and in calm seas.
