Senlis has no major airport or direct long-distance rail service; expect to arrive via Paris CDG or Beauvais and complete the journey by train to nearby stations (Creil or Chantilly) then bus/taxi. Planning transfers in advance makes arrivals smoother.

By Air

Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG): The main international gateway for Senlis (roughly 25-35 km away). By car or taxi CDG-Senlis takes ~20-40 minutes depending on traffic (taxis or private transfers cost roughly €40-€70). There is no direct train from CDG to Senlis; use a combination of trains to Chantilly/Creil plus a short taxi or bus.

Beauvais-Tillé (BVA): Beauvais airport is closer in distance to Senlis (about 20-25 minutes) and some low-cost carriers use it. From Beauvais take a shuttle or taxi to Senlis (around €10-€25) - timetables and fares vary by operator.

By Train & Bus

Train: Senlis itself does not have a major long-distance rail station. The nearest larger stations are Chantilly-Gouvieux and Creil on the Paris-Lille and regional lines; both are 10-20 km away with TER/Intercités services to Paris (Creil is the main regional hub). From those stations take a short taxi or local bus to Senlis (10-25 minutes).

Bus: Local buses link Senlis with nearby towns and the regional rail hubs; schedules are modest but work for typical daytime travel. There are also coach connections from Beauvais and Paris region seasonally or for tourist services.
