How to Get to Semifonte #
By car: Semifonte lies about 6 km south of Barberino Val d’Elsa on the SP35. From Florence it is roughly a 35-45 minute drive via the A1 and SR2. Public transport: limited; take regional buses to Barberino and a taxi or a 1-1.5 hour walk up the ridge.

- Go early morning to see the meadow light and avoid the hot sun; the monument closes rarely but access to the surrounding hill is unrestricted.
- Walk the ridge toward the west to see the circular foundations and the pattern of former streets visible as low mounds.
