How to Get to Selinus (Cilicia) #
The ruins lie along the Mediterranean coast of Antalya Province. The nearest practical base is the town of Gazipaşa - from Gazipaşa one follows the coastal D400 highway west and turns inland on local roads; the final approach is generally by unpaved track and on foot. The site is best reached by car from Gazipaşa (roughly 30-60 minutes depending on the route) or as a detour on a coastal drive between Gazipaşa and Alanya.

- Ask a local farmer for directions - there is no staffed visitor centre and footpaths are informal.
- Bring a hat and plenty of water; the coastal sun in Antalya Province can be punishing in summer.
