SeaWorld San Diego is a marine-themed park on Mission Bay in San Diego that opened in 1964 and combines animal exhibits with themed rides and shows. The park features aquariums, animal habitats and several high-capacity roller coasters and water rides.

Marine animal habitats and aquaria paired with staged presentations as well as thrill attractions such as large coasters and water-themed rides. In-park education and animal-care interpretation are regular components of visitor programs.

SeaWorld opened in the mid-1960s and has expanded its rides and exhibits across the decades while maintaining a focus on marine life interpretation and guest experiences. It is part of the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment group.
