Sārāgarhi Memorial Monument

The Sāragarhi Memorial commemorates the Battle of Saragarhi, fought on 12 September 1897 between 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment and a much larger force of Afghan tribesmen. It honors the valour and sacrifice of those Sikh soldiers.
