The Sankenbach Waterfalls (Sankenbachwasserfälle) are a series of cascades on the Sankenbach stream in the northern Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg. The falls sit below the small mountain lake called the Sankenbachsee.

The waterfalls are a natural fluvial feature shaped by the Sankenbach stream and regional geology of the Black Forest. The area has long been used for local recreation and is crossed by traditional forest paths.

The falls lie in the Murgtal/Baiersbronn area of the northern Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg, reachable from nearby towns in the region and from regional hiking routes.

• Access: Trails and viewing points are short and accessible from nearby parking, making the falls a common half-day outing for hikers in the Black Forest.

• Sankenbachsee: A natural lake immediately above the falls that is the source of the Sankenbach stream and can be reached via short forest paths.

Sankenbach Waterfalls are accessed from Baiersbronn or nearby Black Forest towns. By car, follow local signage to the Sankenbach valley parking areas (Sankenbachstraße). From public transit, use regional buses to Baiersbronn and take the short walk or a local taxi to the trailhead.

• Trail surfaces are steep and can be slippery-good hiking shoes and poles are recommended.
• Arrive midweek or early morning to avoid weekend families; the waterfall canyon gets busy on sunny days.
• Bring a light rain jacket-the forest is damp and mist from the falls chills the air even in summer.
