Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park

Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park is a U.S. National Park Service site in Cornish, New Hampshire, that preserves the home, studios and landscaped grounds of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens.

The property includes the artist’s residence and his studio buildings set within designed gardens and walking paths; visitors can see original casts, sculptures and the outdoor settings where works were planned and modeled. Interpretive exhibits explain Saint-Gaudens’ working methods and several finished works and studies are on display across the site.

Augustus Saint-Gaudens lived and worked at the Cornish site during the late 19th and early 20th centuries; the park was later established to protect his house, studios and the cultural landscape associated with his career.

Located in the village of Cornish in western New Hampshire, the site sits within the Connecticut River valley region of rural New England.
