Sainamphung Orchid Farm Farm

One of the Mae Sa Valley’s original tourist draws, Sainamphung Orchid Farm still boasts one of the area’s largest and most beautiful orchid displays.

Exploring Sainamphung Orchid Farm#

Orchid farms were among the first attractions to open for tourists in the Mae Sa Valley, and while their popularity has waned in recent years, a visit is still highly recommended. Sainamphung, just off the main road near the Four Seasons Hotel, has one of the largest and most attractive displays.

Besides the hundreds of different orchids on show, there’s a souvenir shop where you can buy your own orchids to raise back home, plus a restaurant for a drink or a bite to eat. Orchid lovers will go ga-ga over the shapes and colours of some unusual species, but you don’t have to be a horticulturalist to appreciate a photo of a smiling face framed by beautiful flowers. At just 40 baht per person, it’s one of the best-value attractions in the valley.
