How to Get to Saillon#
Saillon is a small wine- and thermal-baths village in Valais best reached via the Rhone valley rail corridor. The practical approach is to arrive by train to Sion or Riddes (SBB) and continue by short PostBus or taxi to Saillon.
Sion Airport (SIR): The closest airport in the Valais canton with seasonal and regional services. From Sion it’s a short drive to Saillon (approx. 20-30 minutes) - taxi fares typically CHF 30-CHF 60; car rental is also available.
Geneva Airport (GVA): Geneva is the main international airport serving Valais with frequent train connections.
