Roosevelt Stadium was a large municipal stadium formerly located in Jersey City, New Jersey. It was constructed in the 1930s as a public works project and served as a venue for professional and minor league baseball, boxing and large public events through the mid 20th century.
The stadium was later demolished and the site redeveloped. During its existence it was a prominent regional sports and event venue serving the New York metropolitan area.
