How to Get to Robertsport
Robertsport is best reached overland from Monrovia: fly into Roberts International Airport (ROB) and continue by road. There is a small local airstrip at Robertsport used by charters, but regular scheduled flights do not operate.
Roberts International Airport (ROB): The main entry for international travel to Liberia is Roberts International Airport near Harbel (often abbreviated ROB). From ROB you reach Robertsport by road: shared minibuses / bush taxis and private taxis connect Monrovia to Robertsport via Tubmanburg and the Cape Mount road. Expect a 4-6 hour drive from Monrovia to Robertsport depending on road conditions and stops.
Robertsport airstrip: Robertsport has a small local airstrip used occasionally by charter flights and private aircraft but it has no regular scheduled commercial service. Charters into the airstrip are possible when arranged in advance from Monrovia or international charters; travel times will be short from the airstrip into town but availability is irregular.
Train: Liberia does not have a functioning passenger rail network for intercity travel; there is no regular train service to Robertsport.
Bus / Shared taxi: The usual public option is shared minibuses or bush taxis that depart Monrovia and Tubmanburg for Robertsport. These are informal departures (no single central timetable); journeys typically take 4-6 hours depending on road and weather.
