How to Get to Rechytsa
Rechytsa is served regionally from the nearby city of Gomel; international air arrivals normally come into Minsk, with onward travel by train or bus to Gomel and then regional connections to Rechytsa. Regional trains and marshrutkas are the practical local options.
Minsk National Airport (MSQ): Minsk is Belarus’s main international airport and the primary air gateway for international travellers. From Minsk you continue to Gomel by rail or long‑distance bus, then onward to Rechytsa by regional services.
Gomel Airport (GME): Gomel has a small airport (GME) with limited services; for most international travellers it is more practical to fly into Minsk and use rail or bus connections to reach Rechytsa.
Train: Rechytsa (Речица) is served by regional rail services on the Gomel-Zhlobin corridor; there are regular regional trains from Gomel to Rechytsa. Gomel is the closest major rail hub for arriving from other Belarusian cities.
Bus: Buses and marshrutkas run between Gomel and Rechytsa from Gomel’s central bus station; journeys are short (around an hour depending on service) and are commonly used by local travellers.
