Razumovski Palace (Baturyn)

Razumovski Palace in Baturyn is the late 18th-century residence associated with Hetman Kyrylo (Kirill) Razumovsky, located in Baturyn, Chernihiv Oblast. The palace is a restored historic ensemble that now houses exhibitions on the Hetmanate period and local history.

On site visitors find the reconstructed palace building with museum displays, interpreted interiors and the adjacent landscaped park and terraces that formed the palace setting. The restored complex presents the architecture and material culture of the late 18th and early 19th centuries as they relate to Baturyn’s role as a hetmanate centre.

The palace was built for Razumovsky in the late 18th century as a representative residence and later fell into decline before modern conservation and restoration efforts. The 21st-century reconstruction aimed to recover the palace’s historical appearance and re-establish it as a public cultural site.

The palace stands in the historic town of Baturyn in northern Ukraine’s Chernihiv Oblast, within the territory that formed part of the historical Cossack Hetmanate.
