Raudonė Castle is a historic castle on the Nemunas River in southwestern Lithuania, near the town of Raudonė. The complex presents a mix of older masonry and large-scale 19th-century rebuilding that produced much of the current appearance.
The site is notable for its riverside setting and its parkland, which form part of the estate complex visible from the river. The castle complex has been used for residential and representative purposes over several centuries.
The location originated as a medieval fortification that was remodelled and rebuilt in later centuries, with significant works carried out in the 19th century that shaped the present architectural ensemble. The estate passed through local noble ownership over time and has been subject to conservation.
Raudonė Castle stands on a promontory above the Nemunas River in Marijampolė County, southwestern Lithuania, adjacent to the small settlement of Raudonė and set within riverside parkland.
