- Start your ascent from Pustevny if you want the shortest, well-marked route and to combine the hike with the area's famous wooden chalet architecture - many visitors base themselves at Pustevny before heading to Radhošť.
- Look out for the Radegast statue and the small chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius on the summit - these are the site's signature landmarks and easy to miss if you rush the ridge walk.
- Avoid peak weekend hours by going early or taking a longer trail from Trojanovice or Frenštát pod Radhoštěm - alternate approaches are quieter and give better views across the Beskids.
