Puskás Aréna

Puskás Aréna is the national stadium of Hungary located in Budapest and is named after the Hungarian footballer Ferenc Puskás. The modern venue opened in 2019 and serves as a primary stadium for national team fixtures and large-scale events.

The arena offers a seating capacity of about 67,215 and is configured for football matches and concerts, with broad concourses and hospitality areas for corporate and spectator use. Matchdays and major concerts attract the largest crowds, and the stadium is equipped with contemporary broadcast and spectator facilities.

It was built on the site of the older Népstadion and was intended to provide a modern national venue meeting international standards. Since opening it has hosted major domestic and international fixtures and is used for occasional cultural events.

The stadium sits on the Pest side of Budapest in the city’s 14th district, close to the Hungexpo fairgrounds and accessible by Budapest public transport links.
