Island Small Estonian islet in Pärnumaa coastal waters
Puhtulaid is a small islet in Pärnumaa, Estonia, situated off the Estonian west coast in the coastal waters of the Gulf of Riga. It is one of many small Baltic islets in the Pärnu area.
The islet is characteristically undeveloped and functions as part of the coastal maritime landscape rather than as a built attraction. It provides local habitat typical of small Baltic islands.
Puhtulaid has no permanent settlement and no major built infrastructure recorded on the islet.
The islet lies close to the mainland coast of Pärnumaa and is visible from the coastal area near the city of Pärnu.
