How to Get to Puerto Escondido
Puerto Escondido (Oaxaca) has its own airport (PXM) close to town and is also reachable by longer bus or road transfers from Oaxaca and Huatulco. The airport‑to‑town transfer is short and inexpensive; road trips are longer but offer scenic coastal views.
Puerto Escondido International Airport (PXM): Puerto Escondido has a small international/regional airport (PXM) with frequent connections from Mexico City and some domestic hubs. The airport is minutes from the town centre; taxi fares into town are short (roughly USD 4-10 or MXN 80-200) and the drive typically takes 10-20 minutes.
