How to Get to Providenciales
Providenciales (Provo) is reached directly by air at Providenciales International Airport (PLS). Once on the island, taxis, shared shuttles and rental cars are the primary ways to move between resorts, beaches and the airport.
Providenciales International Airport (PLS): Providenciales International (PLS) is the island’s main airport and serves most international arrivals. Grace Bay and central tourist areas are about 15-25 minutes by road. Typical options: taxis from the airport to Grace Bay run about US$25-35 per vehicle (one way) and take ~15-20 minutes; shared hotel shuttles cost roughly US$10-15 per person; car rentals start around US$40-60/day.
Train: There is no rail service on Providenciales.
Bus: There is no formal public bus network like on larger countries; local minibuses and shared vans operate between villages and some hotels. Expect short fares in the single-digit US dollar range (roughly US$2-6) for island hops; taxis and rental cars are the most convenient ways to get around.
