How to Get to Pratovecchio#
Pratovecchio in Tuscany is best reached by train to Florence or Arezzo followed by a regional bus (Tiemme) into the town. Flights to Florence or Pisa give the most convenient international access, then use local buses for the final leg.
Florence Airport (FLR / Peretola): Florence is the closest major airport for many parts of eastern Tuscany. From Florence airport take a shuttle to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (≈20-30 minutes, shuttle ≈€6-€6.50) then regional train to Arezzo or Bibbiena/Arezzo area and a local bus to Pratovecchio.
Pisa (PSA) / Bologna (BLQ): Pisa and Bologna are alternatives with more flight options; from either city take trains to Florence or Arezzo and continue by local bus. Total travel times will be longer but options increase outside peak season.
Train: The nearest main rail hubs are Florence (Firenze SMN) and Arezzo stations. From there you travel by regional bus to Pratovecchio-there is no high‑speed rail directly to Pratovecchio so plan for a final bus leg.
