Prato Cathedral

Prato Cathedral (Duomo di Prato) is the principal church of Prato in Tuscany, dedicated to Saint Stephen, with medieval origins and a distinctive marble-clad façade. The complex includes the cathedral, an octagonal baptistery and a museum that preserve ecclesiastical art.

Artistic highlights include the external pulpit attributed to Donatello and Michelozzo from the 15th century and important fresco cycles in the choir by Filippo Lippi. The cathedral interior combines Romanesque structure with later Gothic and Renaissance decorative programmes.
