How to Get to Pozanco#
Pozanco is a small locality best reached via Ávila after flying into Madrid-Barajas (MAD). Trains and intercity buses reach Ávila; the final leg to the village needs a taxi or a carefully timed provincial bus.
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD): Madrid is the primary airport for reaching Pozanco and the Ávila area. From Madrid, ALSA buses to Ávila take about 1h30-1h45 (≈€8-€12) and Renfe regional trains about 1h20-1h40 (≈€8-€15). From Ávila arrange a taxi or local bus to Pozanco.
Valladolid Airport (VLL) - limited services: Valladolid can be an alternate gateway depending on available flights; travel to Ávila by road or rail (~1-1h30, €6-€15) and then continue by local transport.
Train: Renfe regional trains serve Ávila with services from Madrid and other regional cities; journey times are around 1h20-1h40 from Madrid and fares typically €8-€15. Onward transport from Ávila to Pozanco is required.
