Castillo de Coca is a 15th-century castle in the town of Coca in the province of Segovia, Castile and León, Spain, notable for its Gothic‑Mudejar brickwork and well-preserved defensive layout. The castle combines residential and military architecture and is widely cited as an outstanding example of late medieval fortification in Spain.

Visitors can see the outer moat, projecting towers, curtain walls and an inner courtyard and keep that illustrate both defence and noble residence functions. The use of elaborate brick decoration on towers and façades distinguishes the site from many stone-built contemporaries.

The fortress was constructed in the 15th century and served both as a fortified residence and a local stronghold during the late medieval period. Its layout and decorative approach reflect the blending of Gothic and Mudejar techniques common in Iberia at that time.

The castle stands in the small town of Coca in the province of Segovia, in the central-northern region of Castile and León.

Coca is approximately 50 km northwest of Segovia. From Madrid take the A-6/N-VI and then local roads; by public transport, buses run from Segovia and nearby towns to Coca (check local AVANZA services). The castle sits just off the town square.

• Wear good shoes-the castle's keep and ramparts have uneven stone steps.
• Visit at the hour when the light hits the castle's red brick for photography (late afternoon in summer).
• Allow time to see the museum displays about Castilian military architecture; audio guides are limited.
