Prasat Muang Tam is a Khmer temple complex in Buriram province, northeastern Thailand, dating to the period of the Khmer Empire and built primarily in laterite and sandstone.
The site is laid out as a walled sanctuary with a central sanctuary and an enclosing moat, and it preserves carved door lintels and other architectural details characteristic of Khmer temple design.
Constructed during the pre-Angkor to Angkor periods, the complex functioned as a ritual and symbolic centre associated with Hindu rites and local water-management features.
The monument lies in rural Buriram province on the Khorat Plateau, within easy driving distance of the better-known Prasat Phanom Rung site and regional roads that connect to Buriram town.
